"You Can and You Will"

Answers from Mother Nature herself when I sought guidance from her well of wisdom. Sitting quietly in the woods, I contemplated my place on this planet and the role I was searching to find, a path that meant something to me. There must be more beyond my current sequence of daily events, I thought, as I groundhog day'd my way through my life at the time. This place and circumstance was everything I had worked so hard towards at the time and I felt hollow and empty from the experience.

The burnout from giving my all to a former employer, day in day out, grinding over a number of years, was real. It turns out it was just a machine, the creative process and creator only an afterthought. My time was nearing an end there and I knew there had to be another way to live which was beyond how things were going then.

It was all in a trip to the forest where I found my resilience and motivation again.

I asked and she answered.

"You can and you will."

I hope that when I sit to speak to her again in that connected way and that I were to ask again she would say "You are."

Nature has the answers we seek because we are nature, they are within if we listen. Our connection to the natural world is beyond our complete understanding but there are clues there all around. If you ask, she will listen and if you listen then she will speak.
