ArtistEin eleganter Zauberstab aus hellem Birkenholz schwebt vor einem tiefblauen Nachthimmel. In das Holz sind die verschiedenen Mondphasen eingraviert – Neumond, Halbmond und Vollmond. Die Gravuren leuchten silbern, als würden sie vom Mondlicht selbst erfüllt. Um den Stab herum schimmern kleine Lichtpartikel, und im Hintergrund steht ein großer Vollmond über einer ruhigen Berglandschaft. Die Farben sind kühl, silbern und blau, mit einem geheimnisvollen nächtlichen Glanz. Der Stil wirkt poetisch und magisch, wie eine Illustration aus einem mystischen Märchenbuch. According to ancient texts, Selene's Moon Staff was crafted from light birch wood over five hundred years ago. The tree grew by a secluded lake in the mountains of Arcadia, where moonlight shone on the water every night. The sorceress Selene, whose name was later associated with the staff, carved the symbols of the moon's phases into the wood herself.Selene was considered a quiet scholar and observer of the night. While other magicians openly demonstrated their powers, she retreated to solitary valleys to study the movements of the stars and the moon. The staff is said to have helped her focus the gentle light of the moon. Some stories say that with this light she could calm animals and guide lost travelers safely through the night. The engravings of the moon's phases were not merely decorative. Each phase represented a different form of magic: intuition, dreams, memory, and transformation. After Selene's death, the staff was supposedly hidden in a small temple ruin, where it only begins to glow faintly in the light of a full moon.
