My husband works on movies as a grip sometimes. When he returned from working as a dolly grip on a movie called "Ft. McCoy", he brought me some presents. They were gonna' throw a bunch of cool props away, and he saved this doll from the trash. He wanted me to zombify the doll.
For those who don't know, I make horror dollies- from scratch or I modify existing dollies, adding stuff to them. Anyway- I resisted zombifying who we now call Chip.
I LOVE antiques & was loathe to ruin this doll! But, there were no identifying marks on him, so I couldn't find his maker or history. I reluctantly zombified him for my husband. I'm happy I did, now. We've used Chip as a character in a show we used to do called "The Corpse O'Clock News" (channel on youtube, if ya' wanna' see it) We animated him & a friend of ours did his voice.
We plan on doing more Corpse O'Clocks one day.
To make this style, I stole some yarn from Darlene's pocket & made it live in a square with a style I made a few days ago. Yep.
