A female green-crowned brilliant hummingbird, scientific name Heliodoxa jacula, is facing left. She is perched on a delicate sapling whose branches wind and streak across the photo.
The background is a mix of blues, greens, whites, yellows, and the orangey brown of the sapling.
In the original photo she is a mix of glistening green, white, greys, and blacks. In the deep dream photo she is teal, magenta, royal purple, light blue, aqua, and sap green.
The photo used to mix reminded me of stained glass and a water color stylized painting and I knew after I mixed them that I would love the finished product enough to share with others.
