the aftermath of:
I won't brain any fairies, nor sever them in two!
To fairies I've no malice, nor would I worry you!
Since I am old and feeble, I'll take an old spy glass,
and carefully un-pile the wood and lay it in the grass.
The axe is what I sometimes take, when time to stoke the fire,
but NOT TODAY, my gentle friend! I'll do what YOU desire.
If the Fae folk do not mind, and I have not lost mine,
I'll offer hospitality and treat them very kind.
So, no Fae folk fractured today, nor sliced and diced and burned.
Instead, I'll listen to their tales...then tell you what I've learned.
