*The Fall of The House of Usher (movie - 1960):
American horror film directed by Roger Corman and written by Richard Matheson. The film was the first of eight Corman/Poe feature films. Vincent Price was in the main role on seven of them.
Richard Matheson wrote a free adaptation of Poe's novel, where, among other changes, the narrator became a character with a name: Philip Winthrop; and Madeleine his fiancée.
