I've used the big gears you can see framing the screen before in digital collages. I don't usually reuse assets if I can help it (except generic photographic backgrounds that I can play around with in different ways). That said, I'm really fond of those gears: they always come out looking great once they've been pushed through a couple of filters. As you can probably determine for yourself, the double-clocktower in the centre of the image is just Big Ben with a mirror copy stapled to the bottom and a fancy gold bar obscuring the join.
