The Lady in Shadow, or at least that is what she has become known to me, stares through the dark for only a few moments at dusk. She's not there every night, only some. At times she appears each night, others she comes only every few years. Each time I am startled by her arrival, but a moment later I am comforted by her gaze. It's been far too long now, perhaps even the longest since I've seen her, I find my self missing her face.
