Rev. Mackay was a Canadian doctor & missionary, that devoted his later half of life, for philanthropy in Northern Taiwan. Together with James Maxwell, another personality of similar kind heart & attitude, who spent his life building medicare infrastructures in Tainan, they are remembered as the most prominent foreign contributors to the Taiwanese society.
