I have a folder of many kaleidoscope images from years ago. This base image blended two of them.
An orangery is a 17th-19th century style multi-purpose, luxury lounge space or garden room designed to protect citrus trees and exotic plants during winter. Sometimes they were free standing, but most often they were an extension of the living space of a home. An orangery differs from a conservatory in that it has brick or stone construction with many windows and a solid roof with a skylight rather than a primarily glass construction.
