Create a stunning, whimsical, powerful image of nature. A wide angle view of what seems to be a never ending field of corn. The corn is only a few feet high and has no tassels. A dark thunderhead is forming in the sky to the upper left of the image and all across the entire field of view are large dark cumulous clouds that seem to move from left to right. Cloud to cloud lightning is arcing, lighting up the nearly dark sky. Along the horizon and creeping in from the right of the image is the tiniest sliver of bright red sunlight. Rain can be seen blowing across the scene. In the cornfield is are three female whitetail deer. One has its head down eating the other two are looking at the viewer. An Illinois thunderstorm
We have some beautiful storms here in central Illinois. This week has brought us quite a few. The week has also brought us deer wandering the growing corn that surrounds our house. A fairly accurate image of an Illinois evening.
