So, I wanted to do something totally abstract with both a cosmic and mechanical look to it (hardly something unique for me, but always worth revisiting). The resultant piece uses surprisingly few components- just a background that I mirrored twice to create four-way symmetry, an abstract crystal ball image for the centre of the piece and the infinty symbols that make up the border. After being filtered through two of the filters I created, however, the result came together nicely.
