So, I've got a book coming out in the new year. It's called 'Small Infinities' and it's a collection of short stories taking place across alternate universes. One of them is called 'Death in Chessland'. This image is an attempt to render what 'Chessland' might look like. I started by typing 'Baroque golden tower' into the Text to Image generator, but giving it an image of a chess piece, so that I'd get a building shaped like a chess piece. I did this for every type of piece (see if you can work out which is which!) and then assembled them against a space-y backdrop (also Text to Image Generated), before filtering them through one of my signature filters to create the finished look. It's awesome.
