So, as you can probably tell, I really like orerries. Creating this image was an interesting process. It started with an ordinary image of a clock, found on Ye Olde Google Images, which I then mirrored both vertically and horizontally to create an image with multiple clocks focused on a central point. This was then put through the 'Swirl' filter over on Lunapics to stretch the clocks towards towards a central, vortex-like point. I then used the 'Kaleidoscope' effect to create the visuals of the clocks blending together and merging through one another. That gave me the background for the digital collage, which I then augmented with the foreground image of the orerry (it took me a surprisngly long time to find the right one) and four small ones to make a border. I then jumped over here to DDG and filtered it through two style filters of my own creation (you know the ones by now) to give the piece my signature 'look'. Yeah- it was a process, but I'm pretty happy with the result.
