I mention tech week a good amount in my posts. Tech week in theater is when we tech the sets...making sure they're safe. We also cue lights, make sure audio is good, take care of any props or wardrobe issues and do a buttload of rehearsals. We usually have 12-16 hour days for the whole week- it's basically crunch time before opening night.

Here, one of my co-workers is making sure the set piece is secured to the pipe so it doesn't fall on anyone and squish them. He's flown from a different pipe while harnessed up- to make sure HE doesn't fall and squish anyone...or himself.

I never thought I'd miss tech week, but here we are. Hopefully even the skeptical people will step up & get vaccinated and wear a damn mask so we can get back to at least some sense of normalcy. I can dream, can't I?
