With pillar of cloud, and fire by night,
God led His people with celestial light,
From Egypt's bondage, they were set free,
A nation born, by the Red Sea.
The firstborn sons, by God's command,
Were consecrated, a chosen band,
Their lives preserved, a miracle so grand,
A pledge of gratitude, forever to stand.
The Israelites marched on, with awe and wonder,
Guided by God, they trod asunder,
A journey long, through desert sands,
Trusting in God's unchanging hands.
Their hearts uplifted, their spirits bright,
They followed God, both day and night,
With faith unwavering, and hearts aglow,
They embraced the future's unknown show.
Exodus Thirteen, a story so divine,
A tale of freedom, a journey's shine,
A chapter of hope, of faith so strong,
As God's people sang redemption's song.
