The original image was a digital collage I created. I started by mirroring an image of scattered playings cards and then stitching the original and the mirror together to create symmetry. Then I revolved, duplicated and mirrored a flintlock pistol to create the cross-guns motif in the middle and added the stacks of dice that make up the borders (after colour-correcting them to green: the originals were red and the picture already had enough red). The result I filtered through two style images, both of my own creation to produce an image in what I think of as my signature style for this sight. And I am almost certain nobody read that little behind-the-scenes.
