How can one not feel good listening to the grooviness of Doug Sahm, the ambassador of practically everything groovy about Texas? Not only does Doug deliver a slice of roadhouse heaven, but this week’s edition of Air-Conditioned also shines some love on Delbert McClinton, The Black Crowes, Gene Autry, Amy Rigby, Little Feat, Wilco and Chris Spedding. I looked around a little more and dug up tunes by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Rolling Stones, Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds, Mr Henry, The Vidalias, The Beatles, Loggins & Messina and wrapped things up with some fine Memphis music by Tommy Hoehn and Van Duren. Whew! What a line-up!
